A challenging day for PRO David Odlum with a changeable and light north easterly breeze but he did a great job, getting through 6 races for each of the classes. A field of 14 DF95s and 6 IOMs in the familiar 2 on / 2 off sequence, with a mid-afternoon break to tuck into some delicious grazing platters prepared by June Odlum.
An unusual sunny day with a changeable and light north easterly breeze kept PRO David Odlum on his toes but he did a great job, ably assisted by Peter Madden, shortening the course as the wind dropped off. A field of 14 DF95s and 6 IOMs all managed 6 races each in the familiar 2 on / 2 off sequence, with a mid-afternoon break to tuck into some delicious grazing platters prepared by June Odlum. Many thanks to June for ensuring the sailors drained mental abilities were replenished! Also an extra thank you to David Odlum for, apart from taking on the PRO duties admirably, erecting the gazebo and providing the engraved plates as podium prizes.
The IOM racing was dominated by Edgar Vitte with 3 bullets out of the 6 races, followed by Robbie Mews and Denton Roberts.

The DF95 racing was won by Bruce Quail, also with 3 bullets from the 6 races but only on a countback from visitor Brian Schneider and third was Mark Walker.
