Sunday Dec 4th saw a very convivial and affable gathering of members and their partners for our annual Xmas presentations and luncheon at the Warren Lake Hall in Woodlands. Chef extraordinaire Rodney served up his now infamous filet mignons with Chef David showing his poissoner talent (no doubt under the guidance of June) by satisfying the needs of the pescatarians among us whilst salad chef supremo Sara put on an awesome display of rabbit food.

The MC/Commodore recounted the trials, tribulations and victories of the past year then proceeded to weigh down the victorious sailors with medals of varying simulated metals and awarding perpetual trophies to the top dogs. If the truth be known we believe he took great enjoyment in having each of the podium winners bow before him in order to receive the awards!

A special guest was Jane Cutler, partner of the late Brent Field, who received his posthumous awards.
